I’m back! Yes, it has been a while. But I’m back again after some sort of a writer’s block as well as getting busy with various things.
The word paint had been suggested all the way back in February I believe. And finally, it has taken shape in the form of a story. Hope this one is a good read and please do leave feedback, comments, and word suggestions.
Hairpin was suggested by Sharmistha. Used this tale to portray two situations, one of youth and one of adulthood. The interpretations are up to perception!
Marriage – The word was suggested by Ashwin Gupta. The inspiration was also sourced from his suggestions and is also still a very prevalent social issue in our country.

I’m back! Version 2.0
This winter break, I ended up checking a very big item on my bucket list – Skydiving. It was a surreal experience and I’d definitely recommend everyone to try that at least once in your life because, given a chance, I’d definitely do it again.
And that’s what this micro-tale is about. Hope you like the context!

I’m back! I know I was away for a bit but meeting friends and family got the better of my time. Vacationing is also a task apparently. But yeah, I’m back.
Jealousy was suggested by Vivien Alvares! Hopefully, the tale is an interesting take on the word.
This word was suggested by Reshma. The word was very interesting and this tale came to mind almost instantly!
It talks about honesty, about fearlessness, and about relationships.
Winter was a world suggested by Sharmistha Choudhary because of the Christmas-y feel everywhere in Singapore. I loved the word but wanted to have a different interpretation of it and apply relevantly to another prevailing social problem in the country.
Hope I did it justice.
The word flag was suggested by Sahana Inamdar. This was an interesting word and her interpretation of the word and reason for suggesting was completely different from my take on the word. My attempt was to combine the issues of playing the national anthem in theaters in India, the stringent political allegiances, the obsession for certain sports over others as well as the fight against terrorism.
