Paint Micro-Tale

I’m back! Yes, it has been a while. But I’m back again after some sort of a writer’s block as well as getting busy with various things.

The word paint had been suggested all the way back in February I believe. And finally, it has taken shape in the form of a story. Hope this one is a good read and please do leave feedback, comments, and word suggestions.

Belt Micro-Tale

Today’s word is belt. Suggested by Reshma Bhagchandani! The inspiration was something that is constantly repeated by our elders and we tend to ignore and undermine.

I have another tale with this word also, which I might just post on this space. Hope this one is a good read!

Skydiving Micro-Tale

I’m back! Version 2.0

This winter break, I ended up checking a very big item on my bucket list – Skydiving. It was a surreal experience and I’d definitely recommend everyone to try that at least once in your life because, given a chance, I’d definitely do it again.

And that’s what this micro-tale is about. Hope you like the context!

Jealousy Micro-Tale

Hi Guys,

I’m back! I know I was away for a bit but meeting friends and family got the better of my time. Vacationing is also a task apparently. But yeah, I’m back.

Jealousy was suggested by Vivien Alvares! Hopefully, the tale is an interesting take on the word.

Winter Micro-Tale

Winter was a world suggested by Sharmistha Choudhary because of the Christmas-y feel everywhere in Singapore. I loved the word but wanted to have a different interpretation of it and apply relevantly to another prevailing social problem in the country.

Hope I did it justice.

Flag Micro-Tale

The word flag was suggested by Sahana Inamdar. This was an interesting word and her interpretation of the word and reason for suggesting was completely different from my take on the word. My attempt was to combine the issues of playing the national anthem in theaters in India, the stringent political allegiances, the obsession for certain sports over others as well as the fight against terrorism.

Boundary Micro-Tale

This word was suggested by Afreen Shaikh because of a personal attachment she has with the word. The inspiration was setting boundaries and how lightly people take it in today’s society.

Hope the tale did justice to the word.

Graduation Micro-Tale

Aloha readers! I’ve been away for a few days and that has got a lot to do with it being finals week in university and the piled up submissions reordering my priorities. However, I did find some time to write a tale on this word.

Hope it is an interesting take as usual.
